To achieve our objectives, PETRAS works in collaboration with academia, industry and government partners to ensure our research can be directly applied to benefit society, business and the economy.
The Centre connects over 120 industrial and government partners, along with 24 research institutions; University College London, Imperial College London, University of Oxford, Lancaster University, University of Warwick, University of Southampton, Newcastle University, University of Nottingham, University of Bristol, Cardiff University, University of Edinburgh, University of Surrey, Coventry University, Northumbria University, Tate, University of Glasgow, Cranfield University, De Montfort University, Durham University, University of Manchester, Royal Holloway, University of London, University of Strathclyde, Keele University, and Loughborough University.
We expand our consortium of universities by running open funding calls. This ensures that we engage with research excellence and insights from across the UK.
We provide access to a unique, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary group of experts which can be convened in response to specific, time-limited issues, or for more strategic advice on longer-term issues.
We also run projects and demonstrators in cities around the UK to develop specialist, localised intelligence and impacts. This benefits businesses and individuals in communities as well as informs our strategic insights on national challenges.
Explore bespoke research options tailored to frame your thinking on key cybersecurity challenges.
We work with corporates, SMEs and microbusinesses to de-risk the early stage development of cutting-edge technologies for commercial application.
We also work with professional bodies and regulators to provide strategic insights to support the adoption of new technologies across industry.
We look to the future by training the new generation of experts that society, government and business will need in order to remain at the cutting edge of research in the future.
