PETRAS IoT Hub @ MWC Americas
The Standards, Governance and Policy Research team of PETRAS was represented at this year’s first GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) Americas in San Francisco. The Congress was a premier mobile operators event, with representation from North, Central and South America.
MWC Americas showcased how mobile is creating the connected life and highlighted core mobile technologies, consumer and industrial applications in the Internet of Things (IoT). Postdoctoral Research Associate Dr Leonie Maria Tanczer used the opportunity to connect with industry stakeholders. She identified latest IoT developments in this space and captured some of her MWC 2017 impressions via Twitter:
