Workshop on Adoption and Acceptability

In July 2018 a workshop was convened at Lancaster University’s design-led research lab, Imagination Lancaster, in order to discuss, develop and determine the content for the forthcoming Adoption and Acceptability stream report. The Adoption and Acceptability research teams from Lancaster and Warwick Universities came together with researchers working on relevant PETRAS projects.

During the day the stream researchers presented two related-but-contrasting perspectives on Adoption and Acceptability issues in order to facilitate generative sessions intended to identify research-backed recommendations that further explore and critique stream’s exploration of Adoption and Acceptability. The stream engagement with projects is a crucial means to capitalise on PETRAS’s multidisciplinary research programme and drive the broadest spectrum of impact.
